Sticking to the important bits - the TV has a good picture & sound and was easy to get going (speaking as a none techie!). It's light weight and looks great in our living room. Our Sky controller also automatically worked with the tele but that may be bacuse our old tele was also a Philips and we had programmed it that way. Very happy :-)

I visited a well know large departmental store on numerous occasions recently comparing up to 50 LCD TV's on display side by side. Every time the Philips 32PFL7404 stood out head and shoulders above all others because of its compact size and marvellous picture quality. After 4 weeks I was hooked to the extent that I purchased one. Now to sound quality is an entirely different matter though. We were immediately having difficulty picking up the spoken word ingeneral conversations as per weekly soaps etc and have had to listen intently and music was very tinny. There are so many sets affected by sound shortfall - not just Philips - but at the time of purchase I had not realised that it would be so poor. I am pleased to report that the problem has now been competely rectified by the addition of a Logitech X230 2,1 sound system which to me is a dedicated match to the TV without having to go to the extent of a cinema surround system. It is completely hidden behind the TV. I recommend purchase of the 7404 but whilst you are at it do think 'sound' and take extra measures to avoid any disappointment.
4 weeks on and the picture qualty has developed a shimmering feature which is quite distracting so what with both sound and vision and after talks with Philips it is now going back for a replacement Therefore down to 2 or 3 stars - Pansonic this next time (fingers crossed for a better result)
I needed to get a new tv as my previous CRT tv stopped working. After researching various tvs and reading forums/ magazines I concluded that getting a 720 HD tv for a 32inch is more than enough. 1080p which this tv doesnt have is not necessary for a 32 inch. So in that sense you automatically save around 200 pounds as the 1080p listed at the time was £600.
The viera has excellent picture and very easy to setup. The picture has 720 viewing meaning that when people view the tv from any angle the picture is still excellent. Standard TV picture for this is below CRT TV but I understand that its very difficult to beat CRT on standard definition. These tv's only come alive when hooked up to blu ray(PS3).
I would recomend this tv. You cant' go wrong. Panasonic have made a solid tv

Our CRT had served us well for the last 13 years, but I'd resisted the urge to upgrade to a HD screen until I had too. The good news is the CRT died last week after giving out a few warning signs.
I've spent many an hour scouring sites & forums looking at who, what, when, how, why. etc!
The Sony won me over in the end - I didn't mind spending a few quid more for the 100 Hz after seeing a V & a W side by side showing some fluttering flags, the W was clearly smoother.

I was concerned by the reports of ghosting/clouding on these panels, but I'm please to say that my screen exhibits no issues. Not sure if the 32" screen has these issues or if I'm just a lucky one.

Out of the box the settings look excellent, a touch bright, but all in all a vast improvement over the crt as you'd expect.
I've hooked up my BT Vision box, which upscales to 1080i & the freeview picture is stunning. Almost 3D!

Overall I'm really impressed with the screen & happy with the purchase - I felt sick pressing the "BUY" button, but I feel I certainly have done the right thing.

I ordered this at 1530 on a Friday, and it was delivered by 0830 on Saturday! I'm very happy with the TV, although typically the price dropped not long after I bought it! Setup is very easy, just plug in the satellite cable and/or TV aerial and turn it on, it does the rest for you. There's also an 'Other Sat' option that you can enable to get a whole load more channels (although most of them aren't worth watching!).

Firstly, I have noticed that prices of TVs recently have fallen considerably. In particular, the big makes such as LG, Samsung, and of course Sony. So we ordered this Sony mainly because of the price and as usual a fantastic service is provided by Amazon as it arrived within 2 working days, in perfect condition.

The TV itself is stunning to look at, especially when placed on Levv - Glass Stand For Plasma & LCD TV Up To 32" Or 40kg - Black Glass With Chrome Legs, which is what we bought with it, and so I would fully recommend this combination.

The picture quality and sound are also equally as good, both very crisp and clear. They both have pre-sets, like Cinema, Photo etc., but the one that's best by far in my opinion is 'Dynamic Surround' sound with 'Vivid' picture. The remote is also incredibly easy to use, with few buttons. Don't use the eco setting, as the picture quality is downgraded a lot.

There are few negatives, but one could be that the EPG is a little slow and you cant set a timer, which is trouble for people with an analogue recording equipment.

But overall this is a stunning TV, and probably one of the the best value ones on Amazon. I'd thoroughly recommend it, in fact you'd be mad to not even consider it when buying a 32 inch.

Got this TV first class delivered, brilliant service by amazon. Thought I would wait a little longer and spend the extra money on this TV, due to the Bravia Engine 3 technology, and i can say it was definately worth it. I have a ps3 connect via HDMI and they both work great together, TV has same GUI as ps3 and picture quality is sublime! I was going to buy a samsung but im glad i bought this, It has a great finish and slim compared to other full hd tv's..totally recommended!

It was finally time for us to go fully digital and retire our analogue TV. We're very pleased by the 32LH3000. It seems to be an excellent product at a very reasonable price. We've been using it for standard definition digital TV, DVDs, and Xbox gaming. Everything on it has worked just as it should have, right from the start.

The picture quality is excellent; the colours seem rich and bright; sound fills the modest size living room very comfortably. It was easy to set up and the on-screen instructions were clear and easy to follow. The electronic programme guide is responsive and well designed as are all of the on-screen menus. This is a stark contrast with the Samsung HDD that we also use. The freeview tuner on the 32LH3000 is also more accurate and sensitive than the Samsung. It gives clearer images with fewer digital artefacts.

The set also offers excellent connectivity including 3 HDMI inputs, two component HD, two SCART, antenna, RCA and 3mm sound, headphone and more. The input and output layout is sensibly designed, a cable catcher keeps the many cables tidy, and the swivel stand enables us to access a set of inputs and outputs around the back, but accessible from the side. This keeps them out of sight, but leaves the accessible - great for gaming devices and headphones. I love the thoughtful feature of being able to select a label for each input selector (e.g., Games for one HDMI input, DVD for another). LG has the nicest design of the (many) remotes that we have. It is simple and clean with clearly labelled buttons and a battery cover that is tethered to the remote and doesn't fall off when dropped.

Altogether, the 32LH3000 purchased through Amazon has been a superb consumer experience. They both delivered the goods.

Although we had a flat screen television, turning on the Panasonic TX-L32G10B 32-inch Widescreen HD TV was like entering a new era. The sharpness and colour saturation is simply amazing and the quality of the picture makes even the most mundane programme interesting. The fact that the FreeSat tuner is built into the set was also a real plus as we are limited for space.

I have got this Samsung 32" 6000 series cuopled to my pc and up to press is proving a good move. The clear picture and display is a joy to see. I have not tried any serious game play but I am sure that I will not be disapointed.

I would buy another one but would go for the 37" or 40" in the 6000 or the 7000 series.
